Random pictures of the day

Belita somehow ended up with her toothbrush and used it to eat danonino

Sandy got a dog last week, "peciosa", "arenita", or "cenicienta", she has several names. Today she finally met "pinky", Rosy's dog.

Lazy River Float

Dave has been coming back to Flower Mound most weekends.  However, last weekend, Ale went down to San Antonio to visit Dave and watch the LDS General Conference.  On Friday afternoon we took the bus downtown and went to see a movie and eat at the Rivercenter mall on the Riverwalk.  We didn't have a camera so there are no pictures.  On Saturday we drove up to New Braunfels and rented tubes to go down a portion of the Guadalupe river.  It was a pretty slow ride because of the drought this year.  The weather was still in the 90s so it was a good way to celebrate the beginning of Fall. We bought a disposable waterproof camera, so please excuse the quality.

Familia por la Eternidad

Last spring break we flew up to Edmonton to attend the temple sealing of the Cuevas Family for time and all eternity. Despite the fact that it snowed the whole time we were there, it was an enjoyable trip. We spent most of the time at the house playing with the girls. On one of the days we had the opportunity to visit the girls' school and to meet their teachers.  To finish off the trip, we went sledding at a nearby public park.

Of course Calvin couldn't miss this!

The Grand Finale to Summer

Dave moved down to San Antonio last week to get settled in before starting law school on August 22.  We decided to spend the weekend in Corpus Christi as it's only about a 2 hour drive from San Antonio.  It was a nice way to finish off the summer before the stress of classes start.

We spent most of Friday afternoon on the beach at North Padre Island.

We drove and crossed on the ferry to Port Aransas in the evening to watch the sun go down.

On Saturday morning, we went to explore the USS Lexington, a decommissioned WWII-era aircraft carrier.

There were lots of fake sharks around, but we didn't see any real ones.
